Property Acquisitions Manager manages the research, analysis, and negotiating activities required to assess opportunities for acquiring additional locations, land, or buildings. Investigates potential property acquisitions or dispositions. Being a Property Acquisitions Manager performs or facilitates inspections and assessments of possible property acquisitions. Monitors market trends and competitor activities. Additionally, Property Acquisitions Manager structures and negotiates purchase or leasing agreements. Requires a bachelor's degree or equivalent. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Property Acquisitions Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Property Acquisitions Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. We are seeking a results oriented Property Manager to oversee our real estate investment firm's property management division in the Gulfport MS area
This is a local, full time position.
This person will be heavily involved in the day to day operations that includes
- marketing,
- leasing,
- collections,
- maintenance and
- unit turns (project management)
Experience needed:
- Management experience
- that is, you have managed projects to a high standard
- and you have managed people (contractors and/or internal team members)
- project management experience
- property management experience not required, real estate experience not required but a plus
Compensation:
$40,000 - $50,000 per year based on experience
