Wedgewood Homes’ Acquisition Manager position emphasizes empowerment and flexibility, providing optimum earning potential.

Wedgewood Homes is actively seeking Acquisition Managers who are passionate about real estate investing, thrive in a fast paced environment, and are highly skilled in building relationships and closing transactions. You will play an integral part in the investment process, working closely with the Wedgewood Homes team to revitalize communities, one home at a time. Our Acquisition Managers identify, underwrite, and negotiate potential acquisitions from a multitude of sources. Strong communication and interpersonal skills are paramount to success in this role.

What you'll need:

• Active real estate license
• College degree required
• Two years real estate, mortgage, or transferable sales experience
• Thorough understanding of the local real estate market
• Previous real estate Acquisition experience preferred

What you'll do:

• Build industry relationships
• Source and underwrite on-market and off-market properties for purchase
• Negotiate directly with sellers and real estate professionals
• Write and interpret state, corporate, and industry contracts
• Collaborate with internal acquisitions team to ensure contract and document compliance
• Manage transaction pipeline
• Work with Renovations team to schedule appointments and determine scope of work
• Analyze market trends using past performance and other key indicators
• Cultivate collaborative and goal oriented team relationships and communications
• Represent Wedgewood Homes with positivity, strive for excellence and integrity
