Job Summary
The property manager will be responsible for overseeing and managing the assigned LIHTC property.
Reports To:
This role reports to the Regional Manager.
Supervision:
This role oversees the property’s personnel (maintenance technician).
Functions/Responsibilities:
· Manage all aspects of assigned property
· Maintain all paperwork, ensuring it’s up to date and compliant
· Inspect and arrange maintenance to meet industry required standards
· Maintain a positive, productive relationship with all residents
· Complete lease/contracts with residents in a timely and reliable manner
· Advertise and market vacant units to attract new residents
· Maintain resident ledgers with the goal of minimizing past due balances
· Accomplish company set goals and report periodically on performance
· Other duties as assigned
Competencies:
· 2 years’ experience as property manager or related role
· Full understanding of property management and its financial aspects
· In-depth knowledge of all rules and regulations surrounding property management, specifically LIHTC
· Competency in Onesite and relevant databases and software
· Customer focus and bottom-line orientation
· Strong interpersonal and communication skills
· Well organized with excellent time management skills
Education:
· High school diploma or equivalent
