Property Casualty Underwriting Manager manages and oversees the property/casualty insurance underwriting program for individuals and/or groups, such as accident insurance, crime insurance, loss of property insurance etc. Implements guidelines and procedures regarding risk exposure, application renewal, acceptance, modification, and denial. Leads and trains the underwriters to ensure integrity of property and casualty underwriting activities and processes. Being a Property Casualty Underwriting Manager experienced in risk management and complex applications. Provides consultative support for large accounts. Additionally, Property Casualty Underwriting Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Job Summary:
We are seeking a highly organized and detail-oriented individual to join our team as an Assistant Property Manager. In this role, you will work closely with the Director to oversee the daily operations of our properties. The ideal candidate will have experience in real estate administration, property management, and customer service.
Responsibilities:
- Assist the Director in all aspects of property management, including office tasks, customer relations, and handling delinquent accounts.
- Ensure all required documents are completed accurately for move in(s).
- Collect rent payments and maintain accurate records of financial transactions
- Address tenant inquiries and resolve any issues or conflicts that may arise
- Handle daily communications with resident(s)
- Contact past due accounts, maintain records on communication, assist with filing evictions.
- Perform administrative tasks such as filing, data entry, and preparing reports
Experience:
- Previous experience in real estate administration or property management is preferred
- Knowledge of property leasing procedures and regulations
- Strong administrative skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Familiarity with property management software such as Appfolio or Buildium is a plus
- Excellent communication and customer service skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Strong problem-solving and conflict management abilities
