Property Casualty Underwriting Manager manages and oversees the property/casualty insurance underwriting program for individuals and/or groups, such as accident insurance, crime insurance, loss of property insurance etc. Implements guidelines and procedures regarding risk exposure, application renewal, acceptance, modification, and denial. Leads and trains the underwriters to ensure integrity of property and casualty underwriting activities and processes. Being a Property Casualty Underwriting Manager experienced in risk management and complex applications. Provides consultative support for large accounts. Additionally, Property Casualty Underwriting Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically requires certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Property Casualty Underwriting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Property Casualty Underwriting Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. The Property Casualty Customer Service Representative will deliver day-to-day client support by building successful relationships and providing exceptional service.
WHAT YOU’LL DO :
Support commercial clients by responding to policy and coverage questions
Handle commercial renewals, service needs, and customer escalations
Issue policy endorsement requests, COI’s and Auto ID’s
Process payments and billing questions
WHAT YOU’LL NEED :
Associate degree in a business-related field or equivalent work experience
Active Property & Casualty Insurance License or willingness to obtain, required
2 years of CSR insurance experience
AMS360 experience, is a plus
Strong technical knowledge of Property & Casualty lines of insurance coverage, is a plus
