Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor oversees activities of the property/casualty underwriting department. Provides supervision for a group of underwriters who review, analyze and inspect property/casualty insurance contracts, which includes accident insurance, crime insurance, loss of property insurance. Being a Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor experienced in risk management and complex applications. Analyzes various rate plans utilizing a company's claims history to determine the appropriate rate plan and benefits costs. Additionally, Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor may assist with analysis of large accounts. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically requires certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Four Star is in need of excellent people to join our staff. We are currently looking for a Maintenance Supervisor to join our team and need individuals with strong organizational skills, flexibility to work at different buildings on a daily basis, and who can manage multiple tasks at once and juggle competing priorities.
Maintenance Responsibilities
Utilize your skills and experience to resolve maintenance issues including; plumbing, electrical, boiler systems, flooring, windows, appliance repair, and more
Respond to service requests and work orders
Must be able to prioritize work orders on the fly
Identify maintenance and liability hazards and repair/report to supervisor
Perform preventive maintenance on equipment and units
Make all repairs/replacements necessary for apartment to be occupied
Assist as needed in other areas of property maintenance including painting, grounds- keeping, trash pick-up, housekeeping, office support, etc. depending on property needs
Applicant Requirements
3 years’ experience maintaining multi-family, student housing or community buildings
Proven experience as maintenance technician
Basic understanding of electrical, hydraulic and other systems
Knowledge of general maintenance processes and methods
Working knowledge of tools, common appliances and devices
Manual dexterity and problem-solving skills
Excellent Customer Service
Valid Driver’s License and reliable vehicle
Clean Background Check and Driving Record
Customer Service Responsibilities
High school diploma or equivalent; building maintenance technology or relevant field will be a plus
Must be courteous and caring of personal property and treat co-workers and customers with respect at all times
