Job Summary:

The Maintenance Supervisor at Layton and the Clara properties is responsible to keep properties current and functional by providing consistent and ongoing maintenance. This position requires constant manual labor and the ability to pinpoint specific area that require attention and addressing them immediately

Essential Duties & Responsibilities:

• Provide garbage clean-up for assigned properties
• Paint and patching of walls as needed
• Address water issues at properties requiring such attention
• Mow property lawns weekly
• Clean up leaves as needed
• Maintain snow removal providing safe and clear pathways for residents
• Answer and respond to unforeseen calls regarding issues that occur at properties
• Assist with additional needs that Mountain States Property Management may require to help residents in anyway needed
• Take after hour emergency calls as needed and every other weekend

Required Skills:

• General maintenance skills
• Heavy machine operation
• Hand and power tool operation
• Great communication skills
• Ability to read blue prints

Experience and Education:

• Working knowledge of electrical, plumbing, landscaping, painting, sprinkler repair, and carpentry required
• High School Diploma or equivalent
• CPO certification or willingness to get it
• HVAC certification preferred

Physical Requirements:

• Ability to stand for long periods of time

• Twisting, bending, stooping, walking, reaching over your head
• Carry up to 50 lbs
• Being able to work in in-climate weather; rain, heat, cold, wind, snow
