Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor oversees activities of the property/casualty underwriting department. Provides supervision for a group of underwriters who review, analyze and inspect property/casualty insurance contracts, which includes accident insurance, crime insurance, loss of property insurance. Being a Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor experienced in risk management and complex applications. Analyzes various rate plans utilizing a company's claims history to determine the appropriate rate plan and benefits costs. Additionally, Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor may assist with analysis of large accounts. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically requires certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. POSITION SUMMARY:
Beach Property Services is looking for a highly motivated building maintenance supervisor to oversee the daily maintenance duties of a beach front condominium property. Candidate should have working knowledge of mid/high rise buildings or condominiums to include: working within budgets, reading and understanding site and building plans, plumbing, painting, drywall, electrical, janitorial, pools, and other general handyman repairs. Candidate will have experience with supervising personnel, staff scheduling, outlining daily, weekly, monthly work checklist, and coordinating with vendors for deliveries, repairs, etc.
POSITION RESPONSIBILITIES:
Performs maintenance replacement and repair in areas of carpentry, electrical work, plumbing, mechanical, painting, flooring, and other minor building repairs as long as a permit is not required to conduct the job.
Education/Training:
Experience/Knowledge/Abilities: Requires a minimum of three (3) to five (5) years building maintenance.
