Provides supervision for a group of underwriters who review, analyze and inspect property/casualty insurance contracts, which includes accident insurance, crime insurance, loss of property insurance. Being a Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor experienced in risk management and complex applications. Analyzes various rate plans utilizing a company's claims history to determine the appropriate rate plan and benefits costs. Additionally, Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor may assist with analysis of large accounts. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically requires certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. Job Overview:
We are seeking a detail-oriented and organized Property Assistant to join our team. The Property Assistant will provide administrative support to the property management team and assist with various tasks related to property leasing, facilities management, and legal administrative duties. This is a full-time position.
Responsibilities:
- Assist with property leasing activities, including showing units to prospective tenants, conducting background checks, and preparing lease agreements
- Coordinate maintenance requests and work orders with vendors and ensure timely completion
- Assist with facilities management, including monitoring building systems and coordinating repairs and maintenance
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date tenant files and records
- Assist with legal administrative tasks, such as preparing legal documents and correspondence
- Provide excellent customer service to tenants, addressing inquiries and resolving issues in a timely manner
- Conduct market research to stay informed about rental rates and market trends
- Assist with marketing efforts, including creating online listings and promoting available units
- Upsell additional services or amenities to current tenants
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in property management or related field is preferred
- Familiarity with Section 8 and LIHTC (Low-Income Housing Tax Credit) programs is a plus
- Proficiency in Appfolio or similar property management software is highly desired
- Strong organizational skills and attention to detail
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask and prioritize tasks effectively
- Proficient in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, Outlook)
- Ability to maintain confidentiality of sensitive information
