Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor oversees activities of the property/casualty underwriting department. Provides supervision for a group of underwriters who review, analyze and inspect property/casualty insurance contracts, which includes accident insurance, crime insurance, loss of property insurance. Being a Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor experienced in risk management and complex applications. Analyzes various rate plans utilizing a company's claims history to determine the appropriate rate plan and benefits costs. Additionally, Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor may assist with analysis of large accounts. May require a bachelor's degree. Typically requires certification as a Chartered Property Casualty Underwriter (CPCU). Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor supervises a small group of para-professional staff in an organization characterized by highly transactional or repetitive processes. Contributes to the development of processes and procedures. To be a Property Casualty Underwriting Supervisor typically requires 3 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. Medical Services is a relationship – focused team and is seeking a highly motivated and driven Training Specialist (depending on Experience this role has the potential to start at the Senior Level) . This individual will be able to exercise their creativity for designing and delivering training, complete with materials, tutorials, instructions, and learning resources such as online modules and guides. The Trainer will also be responsible for delivering training to support regulatory compliance throughout the department by educating employees on pertinent state specific regulations applicable to the work product. This position requires the Trainer to work closely and communicate regularly with management teams for the respective areas, as well as other team members and departments within NJM, as needed.
This position is based in our West Trenton, NJ location n with the option to work remotely 2 days per week upon completion of onboarding and training.
