Position Overview:

We are looking for a skilled Property Manager to oversee the day-to-day operations of our multi-family properties. The ideal candidate will have extensive experience managing residential properties, a deep understanding of landlord-tenant laws in Connecticut, exceptional customer service skills, and a proven track record of managing multiple sites in different locations. This role requires strong leadership abilities, excellent communication skills, and a proactive approach to problem-solving.

Responsibilities:

• Manage all aspects of property operations, including leasing, rent collection, maintenance, and tenant relations.
• Ensure compliance with all applicable landlord-tenant laws and regulations in Connecticut.
• Oversee leasing activities, including marketing vacancies, conducting property tours, screening applicants, and executing leases.
• Coordinate and supervise maintenance and repair projects, working closely with maintenance teams and contractors to ensure timely completion and quality workmanship.
• Address tenant concerns and resolve conflicts in a professional and timely manner.
• Conduct regular property inspections to ensure cleanliness, safety, and adherence to property standards.
• Prepare and manage property budgets, monitor expenses, and implement cost-saving measures where possible.
• Collaborate with the management team to develop and implement property-specific strategies to maximize occupancy and rental revenue.
• Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of all property-related activities, including leasing, maintenance, and financial transactions.

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Real Estate Management, Business Administration, or related field preferred.
• Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management, with a proven track record of managing 100 units and multiple sites in different locations.
• Thorough knowledge and understanding of landlord-tenant laws and regulations in Connecticut.
• Experience working with maintenance teams and contractors to coordinate repairs and maintenance projects.
• Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and manage a team effectively.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with a focus on providing top-notch customer service.
• Proven ability to resolve conflicts and handle difficult situations with tact and diplomacy.
• Detail-oriented with strong organizational and time management skills.
• Proficiency in property management software and Microsoft Office Suite.

Job Type: Full-time

Pay: $47,241.36 - $56,892.82 per year
