Property Manager jobs in Bakersfield, CA
Property Manager manages the day-to-day operations for a property or portfolio of properties. Responsible for coordinating routine and emergency maintenance, selecting and managing contractors, and leading property improvement projects. Being a Property Manager develops financial and business plans for profitable property ownership. Oversees budgets, lease administration, and tenant service delivery. Additionally, Property Manager may initiate or assist with the buying and selling properties in the portfolio. Requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to senior management. The Property Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. To be a Property Manager typically requires 5 years experience in the related area as an individual contributor. 1 - 3 years supervisory experience may be required. Job Summary: The Assistant Property Manager maintains the property assigned and performs all related
management functions, including, but not limited to, coordinating leasing and marketing efforts,
approving move-in files, promoting lease renewals, resident relations, team building, and any other duties

Pay rate: $16.00 per hour
Work Hours: 15 to 20 hours per week
Requirements
Qualifications & Experience:
- Experience in Property Management
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced, ever-changing work environment
- Excellent Organizational and Communication Skills
- Proficiency in all Microsoft Office Programs and Yardi Voyager
- A friendly, outgoing personality & the ability to interact with a variety of personality types
- Flexibility and ability to identify problems and offer solutions
- Collaborate with Resident Services Provider
