Responsibilities:
- Manage all aspects of property operations, including rent collection, maintenance coordination, and tenant relations
- Conduct regular property inspections to ensure compliance with safety and maintenance standards
- Oversee the leasing process typically done by an outside brokerage
- Handle tenant inquiries, complaints, and requests in a timely and professional manner
- Maintain accurate records of all property-related activities, including financial transactions and tenant communications
- Collaborate with contractors and vendors to coordinate repairs and maintenance projects
- Stay updated on local rental market trends and adjust rental rates accordingly
- Ensure compliance with all applicable laws, regulations, and company policies
Experience:
- Minimum of 3 years of experience in property management or related field
- Strong knowledge of property management principles and practices
- Experience with Appfolio software or similar property management software
- Excellent customer service skills with the ability to build positive relationships with tenants
- Proficient in data entry and record keeping
- Ability to handle conflict situations with professionalism and diplomacy
- Strong organizational skills with attention to detail
