    The Vice President, Facility Contracting will serve as the negotiation and innovation leader for all CDPHP network provider facilities, including hospitals, health systems, integrated delivery systems, ambulatory surgery centers, and skilled nursing facilities. Incumbent will lead and manage the performance of team negotiating all facilities contracts.  Additionally, they will own the end-to-end process for all facility contracting including alternative payment methods (APMs), compliance with participating provider templates, reimbursement standards, budget targets, and process controls. The vice president will work with all CDPHP team members, including sales, medical management, and finance to develop actions to meet market growth and medical cost targets.    
     
    QUALIFICATIONS:
    • A minimum of 7 years hospital and other facility successful negotiation experience for commercial, Medicare and Medicaid lines of business 
    • Bachelor's Degree or 4 years of equivalent experience required
    • A minimum of 5 years demonstrated leadership experience  
    • Understanding of complex negotiations, different rate methodologies, and value-based reimbursement models, including, but not limited to capitation, bundled payments, and risk-sharing arrangements
    • In-depth understanding of Medicare, Medicaid and New York State fee schedules and payment methodologies
    • Understanding of legal and regulatory contract compliance and network adequacy requirements
    • Excellent leadership skills with demonstrated ability to guide and inspire others 
    • Strategic and critical thinking
    • Ability to influence and translate concepts into practice
    • Public speaking
