Provider Contracting Director is responsible for the operations of the provider contracts department. Ensures that provider contracts are processed to support accurate and efficient claims payments. Being a Provider Contracting Director oversees the formulation of provider contracts and specific terms. Analyzes contract data and provides financial projections. Additionally, Provider Contracting Director requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. Essential Duties and Responsibilities include the following:
Assist the pharmacist in the following areas while under the Pharmacist’s supervision:
• Verification of health care insurance for non-covered medications
• Conducts medication reconciliation
• Help in areas such as scheduling and patient reminders through phone calls
• Medication histories and health histories can also be documented by technicians, as can chart construction, filing, and the documentation of release forms and health histories
• Works on medium to large-sized individual or multiple projects, usually with multiple computer environments where design is very complex
• Organize and file records
• Contributes to team success
• Maintain confidentiality in compliance of Federal HIPPA Regulations
• Performs other duties as assigned
The pay range for this position at commencement of employment is expected to be between $20.00 and $24.00/hour; however, base pay offered may vary depending on multiple individualized factors, including market location, job-related knowledge, skills, and experience. The total compensation package for this position may also include other elements, including a sign-on bonus, restricted stock units, and discretionary awards in addition to a full range of medical, financial, and/or other benefits (including 401(k) eligibility and various paid time off benefits, such as vacation, sick time, and parental leave), dependent on the position offered.
