Jones Electric Contracting is an electrical business based in Elberta, AL and have been serving the Baldwin and Mobile county area since 2007. We are licensed and bonded in Alabama and Mississippi.
This position is paid hourly and starts at $22/hour with 40 hours per week.
Responsibilities:
- Oversee and manage electrical phases for new home construction projects from start to finish
- Coordinate and schedule projects, employees, subcontractors, and suppliers
- Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
- Review and interpret project plans, schematics, and blueprints
- Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
- Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets high quality specifications
- Collaborate with home builders, engineers, and other stakeholders
- Communicate with builders, office, and others involved to provide project updates as well as resolve any issues that arise
- Strong leadership and communication abilities
- Proven experience as an Electrical Superintendent for residential homes or similar role
- Strong knowledge of electrical processes, techniques, and materials
- Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
- Familiarity with electrical estimating and budgeting
- Excellent organizational and time management skills
- Excellent written & verbal communication skills - Additional responsibilities as needed based on skills and experience
- Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including customer interactions and service requests
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends to provide innovative solutions to customers
Experience:
- 5 years proven experience in a similar role in electrical industry
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team
- Solid problem-solving abilities to proactively recognize and resolve electrical issues
- Proficient in using computer software and systems related to electrical services
