    Jones Electric is growing and looking to fill the position for Residential New Construction Manager. This individual should desire to continue building, organizing, & growing the electrical residential construction department. Applicants must have 5 years experience managing others within the same capacity or similar. Must have valid drivers license & tools.Immediate opening for an Electrical Supervisor to manage our residential construction department.

    Jones Electric Contracting is an electrical business based in Elberta, AL and have been serving the Baldwin and Mobile county area since 2007. We are licensed and bonded in Alabama and Mississippi.

    This position is paid hourly and starts at $22/hour with 40 hours per week.

    Responsibilities:
    - Oversee and manage electrical phases for new home construction projects from start to finish
    - Coordinate and schedule projects, employees, subcontractors, and suppliers
    - Ensure compliance with electrical codes, regulations, and safety standards
    - Review and interpret project plans, schematics, and blueprints
    - Monitor project progress and make adjustments as necessary
    - Conduct quality control inspections to ensure work meets high quality specifications
    - Collaborate with home builders, engineers, and other stakeholders
    - Communicate with builders, office, and others involved to provide project updates as well as resolve any issues that arise
    - Strong leadership and communication abilities
    - Proven experience as an Electrical Superintendent for residential homes or similar role
    - Strong knowledge of electrical processes, techniques, and materials
    - Proficient in reading and interpreting blueprints and schematics
    - Familiarity with electrical estimating and budgeting
    - Excellent organizational and time management skills
    - Excellent written & verbal communication skills - Additional responsibilities as needed based on skills and experience
    - Maintain accurate records of construction activities, including customer interactions and service requests
    - Stay up-to-date with industry trends to provide innovative solutions to customers

    Experience:
    - 5 years proven experience in a similar role in electrical industry
    - Strong leadership skills with the ability to motivate and inspire a team
    - Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team
    - Solid problem-solving abilities to proactively recognize and resolve electrical issues
    - Proficient in using computer software and systems related to electrical services

    Skills:
    - Strong understanding and practice of proper electrical safety standards
    - Strong understanding of electrical practices and procedures
    - Excellent communication skills both verbal and written
    - Ability to read and interpret electrical schematics and blueprints
    - Ability to troubleshoot electrical issues using diagnostic tools
    - Experience working as an Electrical Supervisor for new construction or similar role
    - Excellent problem-solving skills to identify and resolve electrical issues efficiently
    - Must be accountable, able to lead and manage others, and act with integrity at all times.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $24.00 - $28.00 per hour

    Expected hours: 40 – 50 per week
