Provider Contracting Manager manages the activities of the contracting staff that prepare and maintain contracts and the contracts database system for a health plan network. Responsible for negotiating with facilities joining the health network and setting rates. Being a Provider Contracting Manager oversees network reporting requirements to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, and to produce accurate and relevant reporting of data. Trains and develops staff. Additionally, Provider Contracting Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. Robinson Contracting is looking for an entry level or experienced Project Manager to support our gravel manufacturing and sales as well as our larger construction division. The person who's the right fit would learn our process and help with intake, plan, schedule, bid and execute sales and contracts. Based in Candor, NY you’ll be a part of a small dynamic team who work together to make decisions, lead, follow and balance resources.
The core responsibilities of this position include staying up to date on upcoming opportunities, deadlines, project contacts/customers, complete gravel bids, assist with construction estimating, scheduling, startup, and management of projects. Each job and project is unique and comes with a new set of challenges. Managing the teams and expectations is the key. You'll learn great team building skills and get an in depth understanding of how earthwork and heavy civil construction is done.
Minimum Qualifications:
- Engineering or Construction Management degree preferred. A constructor’s mindset is critical tosucceed in this position.
- Work and/or estimating experience with heavy earthwork preferred.
- Understanding unit or fixed price, negotiated, and other types of bids.
- Leadership, communication, interpersonal, and presentation skills.
