Purpose:
To assist the President with bidding on projects along the Front Range that the company or each department can work on. This position will include putting pricing together, assisting with bid bonds, project specifications, pre-bid meetings, and assisting managers with finding projects, submittals, and bidding on projects.
Duties and responsibilities:
Look for and place bids on projects along the front range
Meet with clients to perform pre-job walks
Prepare any necessary paperwork, such as bid bonds, work orders, change orders, etc.
Assist Managers with getting products for job sites and deadlines
Project/job submittals
Education and Experience
General Qualifications
REQUIRED:
2 years of Estimating experience
Some construction knowledge
Microsoft/Google Word and Excel experience
Driving:
Must have a valid Driver’s license
Must be between 21-75 years of age (Over 70 requires an acceptable annual letter of health from a registered doctor or their representative).
Must download the DVIR application on a smartphone and complete daily electronic DVIR.
May not have no more than five (5) Minor Violations in the past thirty-six (36) months.
May not have no more than one (1) at-fault accident In the past thirty-six (36) months.
Other:
Must have reliable transportation to work
Basic knowledge of the construction industry,
Commitment to performing quality work while putting safety first,
Possess a strong sense of personal responsibility and the ability to perform manual labor in all weather conditions.
