Provider Contracting Manager manages the activities of the contracting staff that prepare and maintain contracts and the contracts database system for a health plan network. Responsible for negotiating with facilities joining the health network and setting rates. Being a Provider Contracting Manager oversees network reporting requirements to ensure compliance with regulatory agencies, and to produce accurate and relevant reporting of data. Trains and develops staff. Additionally, Provider Contracting Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a head of a unit/department. The Provider Contracting Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes. Summary: Under the supervision of the Center Administrator, the responsibilities of this position must provide, plan for, implement and integrate developmentally appropriate learning activities for assigned children in such a manner that contributes to their growth and development and in accordance with best practices for serving infants/toddlers and Head Start Performance Standards; Ability to apply Early Childhood Development theory in daily classroom activities, and adapt to the individual needs of children.
Minimum Qualifications: AA in Early Childhood and one (1) year experience working with infants and toddlers, or in a preschool environment; All positions require the ability to communicate verbally and in writing; All employees must pass a background check before hire.
Desired Qualifications: Bachelor’s degree in early childhood education, Child & Family Studies, or related discipline with a minimum of 18 hours in Early Childhood Education, and one (1) year experience in a preschool/child development program.
