Job Overview:
We are seeking an experienced Estimating Manager to join our team. As the Estimating Manager, you will be responsible for overseeing the estimating process for construction projects. You will work closely with the project management team to ensure accurate and competitive bids are submitted. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in construction estimating, project management, and cost control.

Responsibilities:
- Manage the estimating process from start to finish, ensuring accurate and competitive bids are submitted
- Review project plans, specifications, and other documents to determine project requirements
- Collaborate with project managers and subcontractors to gather necessary information for bids
- Utilize construction estimating software, such as HeavyBid, to prepare detailed cost estimates
- Analyze project costs and make recommendations for cost-saving measures
- Negotiate pricing with subcontractors and suppliers
- Prepare and present bid proposals to clients
- Collaborate with the project management team to ensure smooth transition from estimating to project execution
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and best practices in construction estimating

Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Construction Management or related field (preferred)
- Proven experience in construction estimating, preferably in a managerial role
- Strong knowledge of construction methods, materials, and building codes
- Proficiency in construction estimating software (e.g., HeavyBid)
- Excellent analytical and mathematical skills
- Strong attention to detail and accuracy
- Ability to read and interpret blueprints and other technical documents
- Excellent communication and negotiation skills
- Strong organizational and time management abilities
