Job Summary:
We are seeking a skilled Network Specialist to join our team. As a Network Specialist, you will be responsible for ensuring the smooth operation and high availability of our customers network infrastructure. You will work closely with the the Intralinks team to design, implement, and maintain network systems that meet the needs of our customers.
Duties:
- Design, configure, and maintain network infrastructure including routers, switches, firewalls, and load balancers
- Monitor network performance and troubleshoot issues to ensure optimal network operation
- Implement and maintain security measures such as firewalls, intrusion detection systems (IDS), and encryption protocols
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement network solutions that align with business requirements
- Perform network capacity planning to anticipate future needs and ensure scalability
- Conduct regular network audits to identify vulnerabilities and recommend improvements
- Provide technical support and guidance to end-users regarding network connectivity and related issues
- Stay up-to-date with industry trends and advancements in networking technologies
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- Proven experience as a Network Specialist or similar role
- Strong knowledge of networking concepts and protocols including routing protocols, load balancing, and SAN technologies
- Proficiency in configuring and troubleshooting network equipment such as routers, switches, firewalls, etc.
- Experience with Linux-based operating systems such as openSUSE and Ubuntu
- Familiarity with cloud platforms such as AWS
- Strong scripting skills for automation purposes
- Excellent problem-solving skills and attention to detail
