Position : CART Provider

Location : DFAS at Rome, NY (In-person) and Virtual

DFAS Rome is seeking a qualified CART provider to ensure effec ve communica on access during an

Assump on of Leadership and an All Hands Mee ng. The CART provider will be responsible for providing

real- me cap oning services to enable individuals with hearing impairments to fully par cipate in the

events.

Key Responsibili es :

1. Trial Prac ce Run :

Conduct a prac ce run to test and verify the func onality of all equipment and technology

Collaborate with the technical team to ensure seamless integra on of the cap oning display on

the main screen in the Rome facility.

Determine the feasibility of providing CART services remotely for both in-person and virtual

atendees.

2. Assump on of Leadership and All Hands Mee ng :

Provide real- me cap oning for the events, allowing par cipants to access the spoken content

accurately and in real- me.

• Ensure the CART display is visible on the main screen at the Rome facility, if feasible.
• Collaborate with event organizers to ensure a smooth and effec ve CART experience for both

in-person and virtual atendees.

U lize Microso Teams as the pla orm for remote atendees, if applicable.

Requirements :

• Proven experience as a CART provider or in a similar role.
• Proficiency in real- me cap oning and familiarity with the technical aspects of CART equipment and

technology

• Strong aten on to detail and the ability to deliver accurate cap ons in a fast-paced environment.
• Familiarity with Microso Teams or willingness to quickly learn and adapt to the pla orm.
• Excellent communica on skills and the ability to collaborate effec vely with event organizers and

technical teams.
