Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.     Requirements

    You Might Be the Perfect Fit if You: 

    • Hold the necessary credentials for an assistant director in Arkansas, which include a high school diploma or GED, the Commonwealth Childcare Credential, and experience in a licensed childcare center – a college degree in early childhood education or child development is a big bonus! 
    • Demonstrate strong leadership skills. 
    • Have genuine empathy and understanding of children's needs and development.  
    • Possess excellent communication and interpersonal skills. 
    • Exhibit flexibility and adaptability to meet community needs and respond to changing circumstances. 
    • Capable of meeting the physical demands of working with children.
