PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER manages the operations of a healthcare provider network. Responsible for establishing and maintaining processes and systems to provide routine services to members including contract management and credentialing.     General Summary

    The Information Technology Operations Manager is responsible for the daily management and operation of LSI’s Information Technology Infrastructure. This includes all associated staff, software, and hardware.

    Essential Job Functions

    • Collaborates with LSI leaders and users to ensure compliance with IT department processes and policies and provides support or direction as needed.
    • Helps to create Network infrastructure and enhancements.
    • Provides input for IT Department budget.
    • Oversees IT asset management lifecycle – procurement, deployment, support, and disposal.
    • Oversees the installation and configuration of new systems to customize them for the organization.
    • Responsible for IT team project lifecycles.
    • Assists with managing vendor resources and relationships.
    • Mentors and coaches server team and desktop support team members to effectively communicate with end users and clients.
    • Assists with individual team member development by establishing development plans, goals, etc.
    • Must be capable of safely handling government-furnished equipment and materials.
    • Must be available to work a standard weekly schedule with overtime as required.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    Non-Essential Job Functions

    • Attends meetings in connection with organizational and design changes of the network infrastructure.
    • Prepares usage reports, schedules, progress charts, implementation plans, and other data as directed.
    • Any other job-related task as assigned.

    Supervisory Responsibilities

    • Management of IT personnel, training employees; planning, assigning, and directing work; appraising performance; recommending salary adjustments; and addressing complaints and resolving problems.
    • Supervises the Server Administrators, Desktop Support Technician, and any network support personnel as required.
    • Assign duties and issues written and verbal instructions to subordinates.
    Job Requirements

    Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

    • Must be able to work independently to proactively manage, maintain and support the network infrastructure and assigned personnel.
    • Ability to use the available resources wisely and establish efficient network systems.
    • Must have strong interpersonal and communications skills for explaining technical issues to management and end users.
    • Must maintain confidentiality relating to all company information.
    • Must be able to obtain a security clearance when required by the contract.
    • Expertise in identifying problems in existing network infrastructure and suggesting possible upgrades.
    • Excellent project management skills and strong ability to prioritize.
    • Strong critical thinking and decision-making skills.

    Education and Experience

    • Bachelor’s degree in an IT-related field or equivalent.
    • Two (2) years of IT Management experience
    • Four (4) years of experience working with network architecture and client server technology.
    • DoD IAM Level 1 certification required or earned within 6 months.
