PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER manages the operations of a healthcare provider network. Responsible for establishing and maintaining processes and systems to provide routine services to members including contract management and credentialing. Being a PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER recruits, hires, trains, and measures performance of staff to provide effective and operations within budget. May be involved with the design and operations of database systems used to manage provider data and produce reports and analysis. Additionally, PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to top management. The PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER typically manages through subordinate managers and professionals in larger groups of moderate complexity. Provides input to strategic decisions that affect the functional area of responsibility. May give input into developing the budget. Capable of resolving escalated issues arising from operations and requiring coordination with other departments. To be a PROVIDER NETWORK MANAGER typically requires 3+ years of managerial experience.       Minimum Qualifications
      1. Experience with advanced computer networks and operations incorporating multiple sites.
      2. Experience with converged voice, video, and data networks, including quality of service, network security, business continuity, and bandwidth management.
      3. Demonstrated proficiency with Cisco layer 2 and layer 3 switches and routers, including ordering, setup, configuration, and management.
      4. Demonstrated proficiency with IP routing protocols.
      5. Demonstrated proficiency with Cisco unified wireless network system and IP telephony systems.
      6. Broad knowledge of computer operating systems, including but not limited to: MS Windows (client and server), Linux and Mac OS.
      7. Ability to balance simultaneous assignments/duties.
      8. Possess effective communication skills (oral and written).
      9. Possess effective training skills (individual and group).
      10. 5 years relevant work experience.

      Preferred Qualifications
      1. Four-year degree in a technology related specialty from accredited institution
      2. Preferred (Cisco) certifications include CCNP / CCNA, CyberOps Associate, DevNet Associate, and/or CompTIA Network CE.
      3. Experience with Active Directory and VMWare ESXi.
