Provider Network Specialist jobs in Charleston, WV

We are looking for a Patient Support Staff to assist our patients at their doctors appointment. Because we are a mobile clinic, employees must have their own reliable transportation and a valid drivers license. The hours for this position are part time, probably around 10-15 hours per week with a good possibility of increasing hours as we grow our footprint in the state of WV. Position is travel intensive, driving times of 1-2 hours each way on clinic days but could possibly further than that. Travel time is all paid at your hourly rate. All gas will be paid for by the company. Patient Support responsibilities include traveling to location to meet with our nurse, arriving 30 minutes prior to first scheduled patient, and managing the Vivitrol medication, supplies, and equipment. We dress in casual street clothes on location. To be successful in this role, you should be an excellent communicator who’s able to earn our clients’ trust. Responsibilities

• Report to location in a timely fashion. Arriving late is unacceptable. Staff and Patients rely on us arriving when scheduled
• Scheduling patients next appointment and checking signed release forms.
• Urine / Pregnancy testing patients on appointment
• Update a patients chart in the EMR with any new information such as a phone number or an address change
• Report to our main office end of day by email or text.
• Build re-pour with patients and facility staff at location.
• Inform patients of any co-pays or needed information for our billing staff.
• Submit your designated AMEX receipts end of month
• Gather patient feedback and share with management
• Assist the nursing staff by keeping track of supplies such as band-aids, alcohol preps, cups, etc.
• Scanning in release forms that new patients will fill out at appointment

Skills

• Experience in Patient Support or a similar role is a plus but not required
• Familiarity with drug and alcohol treatment industry is a plus but not required
• Experience using a laptop and email. EMR experience is a plus
• Understanding the importance of HIPAA and signed consents
• Excellent communication and problem-solving skills
• Multi-tasking abilities.

Basic understanding of using electronics and answering your assigned company email

Individuals in recovery with at least 1 year of continuous sobriety are strongly encouraged to apply.

• Right now locations will include the surrounding area of Charleston, WV and Ashland, KY. More locations will be added as we grow our business in WV.
