Participates in the negotiation of contracts and prepares reports and analysis of contract details and statistics. General Responsibility:
Ensure the stable operation of the company networks. This includes planning, developing, installing, configuring, maintaining, supporting and optimizing all network hardware, software and communication links. Also, analyze and resolve end-user hardware/software computer problems, occasionally providing training where required.
Essential Duties and Responsibilities:
· Perform network design and capacity planning.
· Conduct research and network products, services, protocols, and standards in support of network procurement and development efforts.
· Install and maintain network operating systems.
· Provide high level tech support to users and/or I.T. members regarding network system operations.
· Diagnose problems with network equipment and performs repairs or upgrades when appropriate.
· Install, configure and maintain network cabling systems and other network equipment.
· Install, configure and maintain IPS/IDS, firewall, Anti-Virus, Anti-Spam, Antimalware, etc. for maximum internal network protection.
· Other duties and responsibilities as directed by management.
Job Qualifications and Requirements:
· Associates degree in computer science or related field.
· Industry certification (CCNA, CCNP) or equivalent proven experience.
· 7-10 years of experience.
· 2 years of Azure EntraID experience.
· Experience with VCenter and VEEAM; analyzing distributed systems and using replication.
· Ability to work cross-functionally across the Peco organization
· Travel to sites as needed for projects, repairs or emergencies.
