Provider Programs Manager oversees the provider network administration function of an organization. Collects data, analyzes and reports on claims, utilization, costs and changes. Being a Provider Programs Manager reviews existing and future reimbursement policies, regulations and guidelines. Ensure competitiveness of provider network by the deployment of cost effective programs and systems that deliver results that meet cost control and quality goals of the organization. Additionally, Provider Programs Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Provider Programs Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.       About the Position
      The Manager of Special Education Programs provides leadership, professional development, and program management for assigned programs/teams. The successful candidate will serve as a subject matter expert in evidence-based practices for assessment, instruction, program evaluation and special education law.       This position is an interim position for the 2023-24 school year

      Required Qualifications:

      • Bachelor's Degree in one (1) of the following fields: Special Education, School Psychology, Speech/Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, School Administration, or related field;
      • At least three (3) or more years of work/intern experience in one (1) or more of the following: Special Education, School Psychology, Speech/Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, School Administration, or related field; and
      • Valid Washington State Principal or Administrator Certification (or ability to obtain and/or begin an adminstrative certification program)

      Preferred Qualifications:

      • Master's Degree in one of the following fields: Special Education, School Psychology, Speech/Language Pathology, Occupational Therapy, Physical Therapy, School Administration, or related field.
      • Work experieince as a Special Education Teacher or Certificated Support Employee.


      2022-23 Manager Salary Schedule: Level II 156,923 to 160,124 depending on education

      Benefits:
      Our benefits package includes Washington state health insurance coverage (SEBB) and a Washington state retirement package for eligible positions.

      • Eligibility for health insurance is based on whether the employee is anticipated to be compensated at least 630 hours per school year (September 1 through August 31). For the 2023-24 school year a .5 FTE continuing contract position will meet that eligibility threshold. Eligibility for a non-continuing contract position will be determined at the time of hire by counting the total anticipated compensated hours from the date of hire through the end of the non-continuing contract. Benefits include Medical, Dental, Vision, Long-term Disability, Life and AD D Insurance and options for HSA, FSA and DCAP.
      • Eligibility for retirement is based on whether the employee is anticipated to work at least 70 hours per month for 5 months during the school year. For the 2023-24 school year a .6 FTE (either continuing or non-continuing) meets that eligibility threshold.
