Provider Programs Manager oversees the provider network administration function of an organization. Collects data, analyzes and reports on claims, utilization, costs and changes. Being a Provider Programs Manager reviews existing and future reimbursement policies, regulations and guidelines. Ensure competitiveness of provider network by the deployment of cost effective programs and systems that deliver results that meet cost control and quality goals of the organization. Additionally, Provider Programs Manager requires a bachelor's degree. Typically reports to a manager or head of a unit/department. The Provider Programs Manager manages subordinate staff in the day-to-day performance of their jobs. True first level manager. Ensures that project/department milestones/goals are met and adhering to approved budgets. Has full authority for personnel actions. Extensive knowledge of department processes.     POSITION SUMMARY

    This position is responsible for providing outreach services to the Latino/Latinx community for the purpose of reducing the stigma of substance use and connect individuals to services and treatment. Duties include outreach, engagement, case management, recovery coaching, and connection to community treatment and withdrawal management resources, with a particular focus on individuals that are undocumented or primary Spanish speaking.

    Hourly rate based on experience: $17.04 - $19.11

    ESSENTIAL DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES

    • Perform street outreach to Latino/Latinx, Spanish speaking, and undocumented individuals with emphasis on early intervention.
    • Facilitate connection to culturally and linguistically appropriate community-based treatment resources.
    • Develop strategies to decrease the number of Latino/Latinx individuals discharged from medical program against medical advice or for non-compliance.
    • Develop strategies to increase access for Latino/Latinx individuals to services.
    • Work collaboratively with individuals, their family, community partners and agency professionals
    • Collaborate with other service and treatment providers in the region.
    • Attend community events to raise awareness and provide education to reduce stigma of mental health and substance use services.
    • Complete all required documentation in a professional and timely fashion
    • Perform other duties as assigned.

    MINIMUM REQUIREMENTS

    • High School diploma or GED equivalent
    • Minimum of 2 years’ experience in related field.
    • Valid driver’s license and ability to drive company vehicle.
    • Fluent in written and verbal Spanish and English.
    • Prior knowledge of mental health, substance use, and recovery-based supports strongly preferred.
    • Understanding of trauma- and gender-informed care and services.
    • Ability to develop clear and professional documentation.
    • Willingness and ability to establish and maintain healthy working relationships.
