- Due to the sensitivity of customer related requirements, U.S. Citizenship is required
- Must have a Master’s Degree with 10 years of experience or a Bachelor's degree with 14 years experience.
- Top Secret clearance required; if candidate merits strong consideration without a Top secret, required to obtain and maintain a Top Secret clearance with access to SCI and SAPs within 6-9 months.
- Previous operational experience as an instructor rated aviator with experience planning, executing, and debriefing air combat operations. Weapons School graduate is desired, not required, but the individual filling this role must be able to successfully develop Debrief Focus Points and Lessons Learned following the conclusion of an exercise.
- Knowledge of DoD, agency, federal, state, and local guidance and procedures involved in planning a wing/center exercise program designed to assess mission readiness and sustainability.
- Knowledge of Air Force, MAJCOM, and wing/center mission goals and objectives, and the relationship of the various offices involved in exercise planning and execution of military operations and assessments.
- Knowledge of a wide range of qualitative and/or quantitative methods to participate in the assessment of wing/center plans, to adapt existing strategies to meet unusual needs, and recommend solutions to meet mission requirements.
- Skill in gathering, assembling, and analyzing facts; drawing conclusions; devising solutions to problems; identifying changes and trends; and preparing and presenting briefings and reports.
- Ability to carry out and complete assignments involving work with diverse and dynamic groups by gaining their cooperation with tact, courtesy, and diplomacy.
- Ability to communicate clearly, concisely, and with technical accuracy, both orally and in writing; and work in a professional manner with installation leadership, as well as with local community, state, and/or Government agencies necessary to implement exercise plans.
Preferred Qualifications:
- Highly desirable (but not required) attributes include either operational EW experience on any CAF platform and/or have direct MAJCOM Developmental Team (DT) experience.
- May be required to travel by military or commercial air to conferences, meetings, or other functions away from the normal duty station.
