Responds to electronic and direct inquiries from clients about policies, rates, changes, referrals, eligibility, credentialing, etc. Typically requires a bachelor's degree. Job Summary This position is responsible for provider Recruitment and Contracting, Education of Providers, and ongoing Provider Service. Ability and willingness to travel within assigned areas of responsibility, including overnight stays. JOB REQUIREMENTS: Bachelor’s degree in business OR 4 years’ experience in managed care environment. 2 years’ experience in a position that demonstrates leadership abilities and sound decision-making. Knowledge of contracts, applications and products; claims processing systems. Demonstrated proficiency in provider reimbursement methods. Demonstrated ability to meet deadlines and work well under pressure. Verbal and written communication skills; organizational and planning skills; ability to take initiative and work independently. PC proficiency to include Microsoft Office.
