    The tradition of caring that culminated in the establishment of Corona Regional Medical Center began in 1965, with the founding of Corona Community Hospital.     Job Summary:

    The Corona Regional team is seeking a Director of Provider Relations who will strategically plan, implement, and lead outreach efforts designed to foster physician alliance and improve relationships within healthcare community markets and service areas. Duties include but not limited to:

    • Growing business opportunities and maximizes referral and redirection opportunities through the development of synergistic partnerships with providers, community groups, and other inpatient/outpatient associations.
    • Monitor outcomes and participates in performance improvement activities.
    • Provides solutions for increasing the hospitals position competitively within assigned areas.
    • Oversees creation of a target list of physician contacts whose business is desired by system.
    • Maintains good account relationships and implements innovative selling ideas and methodologies.

    Qualifications

    EDUCATION/TRAINING/ EXPERIENCE:

    • Bachelor's degree from an accredited College or University in Business Management or a related field, required. Masters Degree preferred.
    • Minimum seven (7) years of experience in healthcare sales or network development environment required.
    • Experience in physician relations, network, marketing, or business development preferred.

    Other Skills and Abilities:

    • Demonstrates knowledge and ensures compliance with The Joint Commission and Title 22 standards and guidelines.
    • Demonstrates compliance with hospital policies and procedures at all times.
    • Ability to set priorities and appropriately organize workload and complete assignments in a timely manner.
    • Demonstrates ability to relate to clinical personnel and medical staff, as well as ability to interact well with the public.
    • Must have knowledge of PC and applications.
    • Ability to interpret and consider physician volume and payer mix data in the development of an overall hospital and market positioning.
    • Effective project management and plan execution skills with the ability to respond to multiple competing priorities.
    • Strong communication and presentation skills. Ability to communicate in English, both verbally and in writing. Additional languages preferred.
    • Capacity to articulate change/value propositions to physicians and their staff and interact with hospital and corporate colleagues regarding compliance and adherence to regulatory guidelines.
    • Excellent human relations skills with the ability to impact and influence results.
