The Provider Relations Representative, Sr. gains exposure to some of the complex tasks within the job function. Occasionally directed in several aspects of the work. Supports market leadership in the strategic planning process to provide alignment insight, provider preferences, and service line growth opportunities through available appropriate data sources.
Accountable to Corporate Provider Relations to maintain structure and integrity of the program, DPO/DCO efforts, growth strategies, service line development, best practice sharing, data mining, and execution on growth initiatives.
Ensures timely documentation by Provider Relations team members for provider calls (meetings) and Issue Resolution Management into the PRM system.
Collaborate weekly (or as needed) with Market/Hospital CEOs to discuss trends, business growth opportunities, obstacles to service line retention, and results from the previous week’s Provider Relations outreach activities.
Support market/hospital and outreach team members with identified/ongoing barriers to growth by meeting with providers, hospitals, urgent cares, EMS agencies, etc. to obtain feedback in order to improve access, processes and outcomes.
On a weekly, monthly, and quarterly basis, interact and coordinate necessary meetings, field rides, and assessment of the Provider Relations team members to ensure efforts are aligned with the hospital/market strategies to enhance the community’s awareness of the quality services that our healthcare system and clinicians provide locally. - 1 Month Ago
