Premier Medical Associate, one of the leading healthcare providers in central Florida, is looking for qualified and professional Provider Relations Representatives. Primary responsibilities will include the following:
· Identify and develop relationships with healthcare organizations, providers, and professional associations.
· Direct and Utilize team to identify and facilitate new referrals Identify and develop opportunities for growth or other engagement goals; implement strategies based on agency goals and geographical access needs.
· Cultivate new relationships and build trust with Primary Care Providers and referral sources.
· Educate Primary Care Providers on our hospice and palliative care program offerings, and the benefits to patient care and their practice.
· Ensure the team builds and maintains provider relationships that ensure compliant administration of contracts, and education that results in overall provider satisfaction.
· Periodic visits to Hospitals, Nursing Homes, Assisted Living and Senior Living centers, places of worship, community centers, and other provider locations as an adjunct to clinical liaison and to resupply promotional literature.
· Prepare, analyze and maintain key referral metrics and performance indicators; identify trends for review and process improvements.
· Must exhibit critical thinking skills that solve problems with a logical and analytical discipline
· Track and report metrics related to provider engagement.
· Establish best practices and sales techniques within the organization to grow referrals and admissions to hospice and palliative care at a faster rate than currently in place.
· Serves as a liaison and primary point of contact to providers in the management, review, and resolution of provider inquiries and provider grievances should they occur.
· Responsible for coaching employees to support positive behavior and interactions with others.
· Assumes responsibility in supporting the Vice President of Patient Access in promoting and maintaining positive employee relations and effective communications among staff.
· Assists in the planning and facilitation of in-person and virtual education sessions, meetings, and communication sessions with providers.
