This role is meant for professionals who have had prior experience in telecom voice and data circuits in an enterprise environment. As a Provisioning Analyst you will work directly with telecom carriers and internal customers on a daily basis to obtain quotes, place orders and coordinate installation and testing of new voice, data and/or wireless circuits.
Respond to service and repair requests for add/moves/changes by preparing and completing telecom work orders.
Responsible for the lifecycle of all telco vendor circuit orders by acting as a liaison between customers and telco vendors.
Support large scale enterprise deployments
Work with internal customers / stakeholders to obtain up-to-date and accurate information before placing orders.
Create and maintain a catalog of pricing based on telecom carrier contracts.
Schedule and participate in weekly status calls with clients, fellow teammates and carrier providers.
Coordinate schedule installations, circuit turn ups and testing.
Follow-through communication on open carrier escalations and provisioning.
Track and manage multiple orders simultaneously with a high level of accuracy and quality.
Candidates will have a solid background in telecom provisioning and support. This person will need to excel in a fast-paced, dynamic environment with the ability to multi-task and provide support across a complex enterprise infrastructure.
BS in telecommunications or related field a plus.
Experience with M-A-C's (Moves, Adds and Changes) in a day-to-day environment.
9 years of relevant experience in telecom (preference will be given to those who have recent hands on experience with installation and testing coordination)
Conceptual knowledge of telecom & networking systems, protocols, etc. (e.g. MPLS/VoIP/TDM/DIA/SDWAN) a plus.
Ability to communicate effectively with clients and telecom carriers in english.
Ability to accurately read, interpret and communicate detailed network infrastructure and construction blueprints, diagrams and technical documents.
Willingness to work past normal hours for circuit turn ups and testing.
Organizational and time management skills a must.
Ability to prioritize deadlines and openly initiate communications with management team if deadlines appear to be at risk.
Comfortable working against deadlines while multi-tasking non-critical situations in a fast-paced environment.
