ESSENTIAL FUNCTIONS:
Manage projects by organizing and controlling project elements. Responsible for assigned projects from the development and implementation phase to the full installation, operation and billing as required.
RESPONSIBILITIES INCLUDE:- Ordering and tracking of complex circuits through completion including submission of LSR/ASRs (Local/Access Service Requests) via an electronic data interface (EDI) when applicable.
- Work with all Service providers (Local, Regional and National) while ordering Off-net circuits when necessary.
- Create, augment and maintain Network facilities and Network interconnections.
- Create, track, manage and submit Work Orders and Service Orders through entire service delivery process, sales to finance.
- Engage with Technical Design Consultants, Engineering, and Operations during complex installations to ensure Dobson is meeting customer requirements
- Serve as mediator between internal departments to ensure customer’s issues and needs are treated as priority
- Responsible for reviewing every order for accuracy prior to the order being sent to Provisioning. Reviewing for accuracy consists of validating the addresses, products, departmental flows, FOC dates on each order.
- Act as subject matter expert (SME) regarding training of others, handling of escalations and overall workload management. This includes demonstration of theoretical knowledge of the technical aspects of Service Delivery.
- Interact with purchasing to verify equipment needs when required and serve as backup for system entries.
- Prepares and updates service delivery project procedures including description of the project(s).
- Serve as the first level network operational escalation for all assigned service delivery related issues
- Engage Voice and Network engineers to provide applicable Engineer Design Packages
- Maintains service delivery schedule by monitoring project progress; coordinating activities; resolving problems.
- Prepares service delivery status reports by collecting, analyzing, and summarizing information and trends; recommending actions.
- Maintains safe and clean working environment by enforcing procedures, rules, and regulations.
- Maintains product and company reputation by complying with federal and state regulations.
- Contributes to team effort by accomplishing related results as needed
- Responsible for effective and efficient work management; includes responding to service orders quickly and prioritizing activities to meet delivery dates by our customers.
- Responsible for the maintaining of accurate circuit records.
- Orders, tracks and reports on all circuit activation activity.
- Manage, track and report on all On-Net and Off-Net circuit installations.
- Excellent analysis, design Skills, project management, manufacturing methods and procedures, process improvement, technical understanding, documentation skills and negotiating skills
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills
- Associate Degree and a minimum of five years of engineering experience.
- Excellent Microsoft skills; Excel, PowerPoint and Word
