We encapsulate glass with an injection molding process using highly automated systems that include Fanuc and ABB robotics; Automated inspection systems; Vision systems and Poke Yokes controlled by PLCs, and then we inspect and pack windows. The Continous Improvement Engineer owns the entire process for an assigned group of cells: From working with customers to understand their new model launch needs; to adapting changes in process while maintaining quality standards. From capturing the process on standard operating procedures (SOPs); To Identifying and Implementing process improvements to increase efficiency and safety.
