Due to growth, we are currently seeking a Project Manager / Field Engineer to join our team! The Project Manager/ Field Engineer is an individual contributor with responsibility for the delivery of technical oversight and support to ensure sold projects are completed on time and meet our high standard of quality. In addition to managing projects, this role is also expected to accurately specify products and systems and to understand and effectively communicate technical information and principles to ensure a customer experience consistent with company business goals and core values.

How you'll contribute:

• Managing multiple projects simultaneously ensuring all project timelines are met.
• Providing engineering support including project management, installation supervision, and service calls from the office and at customer sites as required.
• Troubleshooting and solving problems at project sites and for equipment in service.
• Providing timely communication and relevant information to all internal and external customers.
• Developing and updating project packages including construction drawings, schematics, installation support, product specifications, delivery schedules, etc.

• Developing and defining job-site schedules to identify key executables to meet customer expectations and provide timely updates to all relevant parties.
• Communicating project and technical support activities, needs, and task status within the Application Engineering department and across the company as needed.
• Providing written documentation for reference as required by company policy and supervisor.
• Conducting project post-mortem analysis and meetings to improve our project management processes.

Qualifications

• Minimum of two-year technical degree in an engineering related field or equivalent experience, or enrolled in an Industrial Controls or Mechanics Technician program.
• 3 years of relevant field experience with construction, mechanical and electrical systems.
• Excellent organizational and written/verbal communications skills.
• Strong preference for multi-lingual skills, Spanish preferred.
• Ability to read, interpret, and create blueprints/schematics/engineering drawings.

• Ability to work analytically to solve problems with variables true and perceived.
• Ability to travel overnight to customer locations including international locations.
• Must be self-motivated; ability to work independently with minimal or no supervision.
