POSITION TITLE: Graduate Assistant

POSITION SUMMARY
Graduate Assistants are student workers who work in a part-time capacity while pursuing a
graduate degree at Southeastern. This position will assist the Office of the Provost with
administrative duties, scheduling, event planning, course administration, grading, and other
academic duties.
In addition to their departmental responsibilities, this position may also have the opportunity to teach undergraduate courses within their area of study, as approved by their respective College and the Office of the Provost.
ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS
Education – An earned bachelor’s degree, and acceptance into a Southeastern University
Graduate Program
Collaboration – Ability to work with faculty and staff with diverse backgrounds and perspectives
Communication – Strong Communication skills, written and verbal
