Psychological Services Director directs and coordinates the policies, objectives, initiatives, and programs for the delivery of psychological services to patients. Oversees the treatment of patients with emotional, mental, and or psychological disorders. Being a Psychological Services Director ensures the psychological division follows regulatory compliance requirements and standard procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Psychological Services Director typically reports to top management. The Psychological Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. Deep knowledge of the managed sub-function and solid knowledge of the overall departmental function. To be a Psychological Services Director typically requires 5+ years of managerial experience.      We are seeking a full time Director of Permanency Services to add to our Big Country team! The ideal candidate would have a master’s degree in the human services field with at least five years of experience supervising a team working within child welfare. The applicant will demonstrate a passion for serving children and families and being able to connect deeply to the respective community for which this position will serve. We will teach you the rest!


    A Day in The Life as a Director, Permanency Services

    As a Director of Permanency Services, you will provide support to Permanency Supervisors, Permanency Case Managers, and Permanency Supervisors working with children, parents, and families to help ensure that children can safely thrive in their home environments. This position reports to the Vice President of Permanency and will have responsibility for staff leadership, program performance outcomes and critical tasks, and community relationships.
