Psychological Services Director directs and coordinates the policies, objectives, initiatives, and programs for the delivery of psychological services to patients. Oversees the treatment of patients with emotional, mental, and or psychological disorders. Being a Psychological Services Director ensures the psychological division follows regulatory compliance requirements and standard procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Psychological Services Director typically reports to top management. The Psychological Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. We are seeking a highly motivated and talented individual, who has completed their doctoral degree and internship in psychology, to join our team as a Post-Doctoral Fellow. The successful candidate will work on a fee for service basis, earning a percentage of income brought in. The fellow will be expected to both conduct psychological assessments and provide psychotherapy to a range of clients.
Responsibilities:
- Adminiser, score and write reports, using objective tests, for a range of psychological conditions. Prominent referrals for testing are for ADHD assessments and intellectual disability. Opportunities are also available for mental health assessments prior to medical procedures, assessment of veterans, and Fitness for Duty.
- Provide outpatient psychotherapy for a range of ages and conditions. The Fellow can choose the population to work with, but child therapists are highly desireable.
Experience:
- PhD in Psychology (Clinical, Counseling and possibly School)
-Graduation from an APA - accredited school and internship is preferred
