Being a Psychological Services Director ensures the psychological division follows regulatory compliance requirements and standard procedures. Requires a bachelor's degree or its equivalent. Additionally, Psychological Services Director typically reports to top management. The Psychological Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure.   • This is a professional administrative position with billing and patient care oversight responsibilities related to our administrative staff. This position will manage the accurate processing of mental health care treatment claims submitted to Parkside’s professional administrative team, compile and provide analysis of monthly billing activity and accounts receivable process and manage all payer related contracts.

    $1000.00 Sign-on / Retention Bonus

    This individual is responsible for analyzing existing processes and data and reporting this information to the Parkside leadership team with a focus on continuous process improvement.

    This individual will participate in “New Hire” training and provide feedback on trainee progress.

    This individual will provide feedback for ongoing performance improvement and training activities.

    Strong organizational skills, the ability to prioritize assigned workload and the ability to relate agreeably and work well with others are essential skills for this position. The ability to calmly respond and react to problems/difficulties immediately is imperative. Advanced knowledge of telephone etiquette and skills are also required.

    This professional staff member will have competency performing typical administrative duties including answering telephones, scheduling appointments, and organizing and tracking referrals and other client related activities with an emphasis on attention to details, accuracy, logical reasoning, and mathematical precision.

    Position requires the ability to work well with diverse staff and clientele, including economic, ethnic, religious and disabilities. Employee must possess strong relationship skills which bring calm, compassion, and competency to all interactions.

    Required Education/Experience:

    • High School Graduate or more.
    • Minimum of three (3) years of professional healthcare administrative experience.
    • Experience and proficiency using computers and Microsoft Office products.
    • Experience working with electronic medical records and document storage solutions.
    • Excellent work attendance record.
    • Mental Health administration preferred.

    Examples of Tasks Performed and Work Assigned:

    • Review and implement client funding strategies.
    • Perform quality review of client encounters and be able to identify trends and report errors.
    • Submit and manage prior authorizations.
    • Submit and manage single-case agreements.
    • Proactively review accounts receivable and manage accounts receivable in concert with contracted billing services.
    • Accurately review and apply payment to clients’ charges.
    • Manage client billing activity and address and mitigate client disputes.
    • Manage accurate implementation of relevant “Daily Copay” collection processes.
    • Manage Community Abuse Response Team “CART” Program reporting and compliance activities.
    • Manage and bill all county, state, and federal funded contracts.
    • Accurately tabulate data and compile reports and billing information.
    • Review and assess client billing documentation (encounters and associated materials).
    • Manage and coordinate payer contracts.
    • Manage and ensure accuracy of payer rates in local files and within the electronic medical record.
    • Directly assist with leadership/management special projects.
    • Support and back up all office administrative duties and tasks as needed.
    • Work Hours as assigned.
    • Perform other duties as assigned.
