Additionally, Psychological Services Director typically reports to top management. The Psychological Services Director manages a departmental sub-function within a broader departmental function. Creates functional strategies and specific objectives for the sub-function and develops budgets/policies/procedures to support the functional infrastructure. In this role, you'll play a critical part in supporting our patient’s by administering and scoring psychological batteries, as well as compiling results under the guidance of our doctors. The position includes administering psychological tests to child, adolescent and adult outpatient populations, scores tests, compiles results, writes behavioral observations/draft reports, data entry, answering calls/emails, scanning, and other administrative tasks.     Position Overview:

    · Seeking Full time Psychometrist / Psychometrician / Tester / Technician and/or Department Manager
    (typically requires a Monday-Friday schedule available between 8am-5pm)

    Qualifications:

    · Required Bachelor’s Degree

    · Time commitment: 1 year Considering the training and competencies necessary for this role (dependent on an individual's prior experience and successful completion of the competencies), the training duration can range from one to four months. Individuals applying should plan to remain in the position for a minimum of one year.

    Preferred/ Favorable:

    · Experience in working in a psychology or other healthcare practice

    · HIPAA compliance

    · Some education/course work or experience with psychology, mental health, and/or psychological tests

    · Previous experience as a Psychometrist / Test Administrator / Technician or in a similar role is highly desirable

    · Computer fluency (i.e., telehealth, EHR)

    · Remains compassionate, aware, and resourceful during testing in order to tailor the approach for individuals with unique, special, and diverse needs(especially when working with patients who have severe impairments and/or behavioral issues)

    · Ability to work with individuals from varied backgrounds with a variety of physical, mental, and emotional difficulties

    Primary Responsibilities:

    · Selecting, administering, scoring, compiles data, and reporting results for a large number of psychological tests on patients with a wide range of known or suspected conditions (ages 0-99)

    · Accurately records responses, times and scores, and writes detail behavioral observations concerning patient performance during testing, and initiate draft reports on patients

    · Be familiar with principles of psychometry and meet proficiency for test administration/scoring/ writing

    · Coordinate with the provider / specialist and help organize scheduling, checking in patients, answering calls/emails, data entry/scanning, verifying insurance benefits, and completing encounter notes

    · Maintains testing supplies and computer services and participates in psychology related activities such as research, projects, etc.

    Job Type: Full-time

    Pay: $16.00 - $20.00 per hour
