Job Overview

As a Clinical Supervisor at CCPS, you will oversee and support a team of Associate Therapists providing therapy to children, adolescents, adults, and families. Reporting directly to Dr. Kristyn Collins PhD, our Clinical Director, you will play a crucial role in ensuring the delivery of high-quality, trauma-informed care to disadvantaged youth in our central coast community.

Responsibilities and Duties

• Supervise and mentor Associate Therapists
• Provide clinical oversight and guidance
• Conduct regular supervision meetings (1:1 and group)
• Assist in the development of treatment plans
• Offer support for crisis intervention and conflict resolution
• Ensure compliance with ethical and legal standards
• Maintain accurate clinical documentation and approve notes in TherapyNotes
• Outpatient professional therapy duties may be available

Qualifications

• Doctorate or Master's degree from an accredited institution
• Active licensure from the Board of Behavioral Sciences
• Professional liability insurance
• Proficient knowledge in therapeutic compliance and ethics
• Strong communication and interpersonal skills
• Positive problem solving and therapeutic coping strategies
• Experience in clinical supervision required
• First hand experience in child and adolescent psychology such as in-school counseling, family therapy and/or play therapy
• Commitment to diversity, equity, and inclusion
• Bilingual (English and Spanish) is preferred
• Training in gender-affirming care and LGBTQIA therapy is preferred

Compensation

This is a part-time or full-time, non-exempt position with competitive hourly rates ranging from $40 to $60 per hour, commensurate with experience and qualifications. Full-time candidates will be asked to take on a case load of their own (in-person or telehealth) to maintain full-time hours. Hourly rates may be subject to change for therapeutic work compared to supervisory work rates.
