As a Psychological Services Specialist, in the Bureau of Juvenile Justice Services - Eastern Region, you will be responsible for providing a variety of direct psychological services, consultative services, and treatment team services to court-adjudicated youth with increased behavioral and mental health diagnosis.
You will prepare written clinical evaluations on each resident in your assigned area and administer the recommended specialized assessment protocol. You will also coordinate mental health services and provide direct services to residents by participating in individual and group counseling and therapy, attending court and mental health hearings, and completing psychological assessments and reports. In addition, you will be providing training to direct care service staff and participating in meetings with Probation Officers and the multi-disciplinary team.
