We specialize in supporting young adults and those in life transitions with anxiety, depression, trauma, and other common struggles. We are looking for a therapist who can join our team of professionals and contribute to the growth of our company. We are looking for a postdoctoral fellow who can join our team and grow with our innovative company.

Responsibilities:

• Provide therapy sessions and psychological evaluations, as needed.
• Conduct intake assessments, and psychoeducational testing, and develop therapeutic and treatment plans based on the client’s interests, abilities, or needs.
• Maintain ethical and complete client records and submit required documentation in a timely manner.
• Maintain professional relationships with co-workers and clients.
• Identify and communicate potential client risks and effectively manage concerns or conflicts. Consult with the team if needed.
• Respond timely to email correspondences in a professional manner.
• Be listed on client matching sites (e.g. Psychology Today, Therapy for Black Girls, etc.)
• Perform additional duties if needed for client care.
• Have the opportunity to participate in research/podcast responsibilities related to Black women if that is of interest to you.

Qualifications:

• Must have a Doctoral degree in Psychology.
• Must be eligible as a psychological assistant through the Delaware Board of Psychology.
• Have training and experience in treating anxiety, depression, and/or struggles common to young adults.
• Enjoy working with diverse clients from various ethnic communities and special populations such as African Americans, Latinos, working class, and young adults.
• Possess a compassionate, multi-culturally competent, culturally sensitive, confident, and strength-based therapeutic style that fosters rapport with your clients.
• Have a commitment to professional development and a growth mindset approach to learning.

Benefits:

• The postdoctoral fellow is classified as a 1099 contract employee with competitive pay ($57,000 - $59,000). You will actively build your own caseload and private practice with no non-compete requirement, and you will receive regular clinical supervision.
• Flexible schedule, with weekday, evening, and weekend hours available.

This is a full-time position, requiring a commitment of 40 hours per week. The term of the contract is 1 year. The job location is remote, with headquarters in Wilmington Delaware.
