Psychologist - M.A. evaluates patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. Diagnoses disorders, including nature and extent, and determines the appropriate course of treatment for the patient. Being a Psychologist - M.A. uses talk therapy to treat patient illness or distress, cannot prescribe medication. Requires a master's degree in clinical psychology. Additionally, Psychologist - M.A. requires a valid state license to practice. Typically reports to a medical director. The Psychologist - M.A. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be a Psychologist - M.A. typically requires 7+ years of related experience.     Stonebridge Independent Counseling Center (SBICC) is growing! To provide our clients with the best care possible, we are actively engaging independent private practice Counselors (LPC, LMFT, Psychologists, Psychiatrists, and Speech Therapists) to join our incredible team of professionals. We have a limited number of spaces remaining.

    All administrative and professional services are included when you sign on with SBICC. If you are a newly licensed therapist, please apply, as we may be able to assist you to begin your journey into private practice. The assistance includes credentialing therapists with all major insurance companies.

    To tour our center, call Michelle at (616) 450-3360 to arrange a time! We are confident you will love our professional counseling facility, as will your clients. It's a great place to practice!

    Considerations:

    Counselor should have their own Tax ID (or social security number) & NPI number. SBICC will help you obtain if you do not have one.

    Counselors must have a State of Texas license through the Texas Board of Behavioral Health (LPC, LMFT, Psychiatrist, Psychologist, Speech Therapist).

    SBICC Office Space Includes:

    • NEW, relaxed, soothing, comfortable and professionally decorated facility
    • Professional Receptionist during business hours of 8:30 am to 6:00 pm or as needed
    • High speed internet-wired and wireless – Password Protected
    • Use of conference room
    • Fully supplied break room with Keurig coffee maker and amenities
    • Access Controlled doors and cameras for enhanced occupant safety
    • Single story processional building with ample free parking and ramp (ADA compliant) and close to restaurants and amenities


    Administrative Services

    • Patient scheduling using “Therapy Appointment” cloud-based software
    • Billing contracted insurance carriers
    • Insurance Collections
    • Collection of co-pays and deductibles
    • Credentialing and Enrollment of Insurance Carriers
    • Scheduling of follow up appointments – Extremely important!
    • Appointment reminders


    Telehealth services

    SBICC focuses on you to make the most of your counseling acumen to optimize the patient / provider experience. If you operate independently and wish to grow your practice by focusing on your client/patients (NOT the administrative tasks), and do so in a new and beautiful facility, please contact Michelle at 616-450-3360.

    SBICC runs background checks on all potential therapists and requires all applicants to sign a release.

    Job Type: Contract

    Salary: $60,000.00 - $125,000.00 per year
