Psychologist - M.A. evaluates patients for mental, emotional, or behavioral disorders. Diagnoses disorders, including nature and extent, and determines the appropriate course of treatment for the patient. Being a Psychologist - M.A. uses talk therapy to treat patient illness or distress, cannot prescribe medication. Requires a master's degree in clinical psychology. Additionally, Psychologist - M.A. requires a valid state license to practice. Typically reports to a medical director. The Psychologist - M.A. work is highly independent. May assume a team lead role for the work group. A specialist on complex technical and business matters. To be a Psychologist - M.A. typically requires 7+ years of related experience.     Olympus Health is hiring a Psychologist who can perform basic psychiatric evaluations. We perform these exams 1 day a month, usually on a Saturday, so it won't interfere with your current job. You will be given a basic template to follow. We conduct these exams for the state of New Mexico for people who are applying for government services.

    We pay $60 per patient for conducting these exams. You can expect to see about 8-11 patients per day. (About $500-$600 per clinic day)
