Being a Psychologist - Ph.D uses talk therapy to treat patient illness or distress, cannot prescribe medication. Requires a PhD in clinical psychology. Additionally, Psychologist - Ph.D requires a valid state license to practice. Typically reports to a medical director. The Psychologist - Ph.D works autonomously. Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. We specialize in delivering mental health services to residents of long-term care facilities, both in-person and through telehealth. Our diverse and expanding team of psychiatrists, psychotherapists, and nurse practitioners provides quality care to over 300 facilities in Maryland, Virginia, Pennsylvania, and the District of Columbia.


    Position Overview: We are currently seeking a Licensed Psychologist to join our team and provide psychotherapy services at our partner facilities. This role offers an opportunity for meaningful, flexible, and autonomous work while making a significant impact on the lives of seniors in our community.     Responsibilities:

    ·        Provide individual and family counseling

    ·        Offer on-site assistance at nursing homes, assisted care, and similar facilities

    ·        Consult with facility staff to coordinate care

    ·        Deliver periodic educational talks

    ·        Adhere to established regulations, policies, and procedures while exercising initiative and independent judgment
