Goals are generally communicated in "solution" or project goal terms. May provide a leadership role for the work group through knowledge in the area of specialization. Works on advanced, complex technical projects or business issues requiring state of the art technical or industry knowledge. Description:
Heartland AEA has a full-time School Psychologist position available for the 2024-25 school year, based out of the Knoxville office, serving students in the Knoxville and Pella school districts. This position will have a 192-day contract and will provide services that assist parents and professionals in meeting the educational and social/emotional/behavioral and mental health needs of children and youth and will include Child Find responsibilities within a RtI model.
Qualifications:
Qualified applicants must be appropriately licensed/certified by the Iowa Board of Educational Examiners, having a Professional Service License (or have the ability to obtain a license) and have a post-master's level of professional training in an approved school psychology training program with institutional recommendations. Prefer applicants who have a specialist degree or master's plus 30 hours and a desire to work within a RtI/MTSS model. Bilingual abilities are a plus, but not required. Qualified candidates should have an understanding of function of behavior and best practices in instruction for behavior.
